Abdul Rauf
Law Graduate from Aligarh. After a brief stint at Bar, joined Jammu & Kashmir Government, Tourism Department as Tourist Officer in 1959. Trained at Staff Training School, Department of Tourism, Govt of India, New Delhi under the guidance of Late Mr. S.N Chib the first Director General of Tourism in India. During the Government service,actively involved in Revival & management of Winter Sports & Resorts at Gulmarg in 1965 & also opening of Ladakh for Tourists in 1974. During the last over 25 years Headed Tourism Operations of the India’s top most Travel Agency in Jammu & Kashmir, Jaipur & Goa.
Active member of TRAVEL AGENTS ASSOCIATION OF INDIA, INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF TOUR OPERATORS,TRAVEL AGENTS SOCIETY OF KASHMIR, J&K TOURISM ALLIANCE.
EX- Member of the Tourism Management Committee of J&K, Advisory Committee, Airport Authority of India.
